In only one month, so much happened, so much to see, do and in between just live and get by. 30 days ago we just bought a second car in Trondheim so that finally we both could go drive to work at the same time.
Lauri also got to meet a friend from home there. Two perfect reasons to get our asses to Trondheim. And that wonderful city embraced us with sunshine and the possibilty to wear just a shirt outside.
(Lauri, I’ll leave that part out - with your back problems. Everybody just goes online to get to the positive side of stuff, no time for bad news!
And I’ll not tell anything about that shitty AirBnB.;)
Where was I? Yes, sunshine! Golden october. Colourful autumn!
Trondheim, you’ve been nice to us (although Laura was mostly out of order due to her back problems we rather not talk about) me. You’ll be forever in our hearts, our first home here in Norge.
After two days I had to drive the new car back and get to work the whole weekend. But from the next week on we had after-work time together. One could drive 5 minutes to walk the dog outside of roads without depending on the other to be there as well. A little more freedom in our everyday living. But the days shortened. On the plus side: different set of colours unlocked.
And for many days the rain stopped. Guys, it does make a difference! Like today, rain and wind are relentless and just doesn’t stop to do so for a whole or even several days. We can see the appeal in that as well but let’s be frank, it’s easier discovering the land, especially if you have a little rain-sensitive dog and/or camera or not the right clothes for yourself.
But I’m getting ahead of myself. We’re lucky to had have a lot of sunshine and just a little snow. As we were driving to the arctic circle (center). We also used our free days, evenings and weekends to discover our surroundings, get more stuff for the house, visit our new friends and just enjoyed living in a place we dreamed of two years ago. Living heaven.
(And I already expressed my joy of single days and the neighborhood.)

Since that trip I was sure to get a new lens, to cover more reach and catch better sights and details. This weekend we not only got a visit from Lauris cousin - the energetic and colourful Jojo - but I also got the new lens and on top the opportunity to use it. I’m in love with it and just want to wander around and catch all the views and sceneries. Even the ones on the other side of the shore or at the mountaintops…
